We made these lamb burgers a few weeks ago and they were delicious. I made only 4 and not 8 as the recipe suggests. Dress them up however you like. Omit or swap flour to make them gluten-free.
Ingredients
500g of minced lamb
1 onion, grated
3 tbsps. of breadcrumbs
2 tbsps. of plain flour
2 tbsps. of chopped fresh parsley
2 tsps. of salt
1 tsp. of pepper
1 tsp. of ground cumin
1 tsp. of seven spice seasoning
1 tsp. of ground coriander
3-4 tbsps. of olive oil
Method
Put the lamb, onion, breadcrumbs, flour, parsley, salt, pepper and spices in a bowl and mix well with your hands. Divide the mixture into 8 pieces and shape each into a patty. Heat 2 tbsps. of the oil in a frying pan, add half the lamb patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove with a spatula and drain on kitchen paper. Keep warm while you cook the rest of the patties. Serve hot.
